The Emporia 5th grade Attack basketball team won the Gold Division Championship at the 2025 Kansas Middle School Basketball Championship this past weekend in Wichita.
Emporia Attack defeated the McPherson Jr. Pups in the championship game. The team is coached by Beau Welch and Justin Pearson. Team members include Tyson Huggard, Jaxon Schnakenberg, Hakob Speer, Baron Welch, Bryndon Welch, Owen Pearson and Brynlee Welch.
