The call is out.
Emporia Community Foundation is looking for community groups across the KVOE listening area to be Match Day partners. Executive Director Linda Kehres-Schmidt says there is an extensive application to fill out.
Participating nonprofits must have an operating budget no bigger than $175,000. They must also have an office in a county served by the Emporia Community Foundation, as well as an account with the Community Foundation.
The application window closes at 5 pm March 28, with application reviews next month and final decisions in May. More information is available at the Community Foundation’s office, 527 Commercial Suite B, or online at emporiacf.org.
Match Day has generated almost $3.1 million for nearly 60 area nonprofits since its inception in 2013. Last year generated an event record of almost $770,000.
