Flint Hills Technical College has a major capital campaign coming.
During the college’s Board of Trustees meeting Monday, the college announced it will launch its $17 million “Advancing Tomorrow” campaign with a special event April 3. Included in those activities will be an unveiling for a planned Advanced Industry Education Center and an announcement of a “significant” lead gift.
The projected two-year campaign will fund the construction of the new facility, which will continue the college’s ability “to deliver high-quality technical education across multiple disciplines.”
RSVPs are needed by March 31. People wanting to attend can call Executive Assistant Rachel Thurman at 620-341-1305. More information is available at fhtc.edu/advancing-tomorrow.
President Caron Daugherty will discuss the Advancing Tomorrow campaign in more detail during KVOE’s monthly Tech Talk at 8:20 am Tuesday.
