Last week’s United Way/KVOE Live Morning Drive Radio Auction generated almost $4,000 for the United Way’s annual fundraising drive.
United Way CEO Daphne Mertens says that’s a good number, especially when her agency and others are battling two overlapping trends when it comes to fundraising.
Mertens says all the auction’s proceeds help with a wide vareity of programs.
Among other things, the United Way is now gearing up for its first video game tournament April 26.
