The Flint Hills League announced its All-League basketball teams on Friday.
On the girls side were four unanimous first team selections, Osage City’s Kaelyn Boss and Emory Speece, Chase County’s Madelyn Wilson and Lyndon’s Allie Kneisler. Wabaunsee’s Talen Orton rounds out the first team selections. Second team honorees are Wabaunsee’s Grace Zeller, Osage City’s Lexi Boss, Mission Valley’s Kyplee Jacobson, West Franklin’s Madison Scott and Chase County’s Lynnae Rains. Honorable mention picks are Chase County’s Ava Wilson, Lyndon’s Jaedyn Segrist, West Franklin’s Zoe Dowd, Cair Paravel’s Karsyn Hastert and Council Grove’s Shanyn Miller.
On the boys side were three unanimous first team selections, Council Grove’s Brycen Palmquist, Osage City’s Kasen Parsons and Chase County’s Wyatt Griffin. Rounding out the first selections are Mission Valley’s Porter Deters and Wabaunsee’s Cole Frank. Second team honorees are West Franklin’s Gunnar McMahan, Cair Paravel’s Jase Pavlik, Wabaunsee’s Caden Frank, Osage City’s Reed Silver and Chase County’s Carson Schroer. Honorable mention picks are Mission Valley’s Hunter Tenbrink, Lyndon’s James Marcotte, Council Grove’s Finn Gant and Osage City’s Dylan Theel.
The Flint Hills League had three teams qualify for state, the Osage City girls and the Chase County girls and boys, all of who had their seasons in the quarterfinal round.
