The Lebo girls basketball team bounced back with a 61-47 victory over Attica in the third place game of the Class 1A-Division II State Tournament in Colby on Saturday.
Lebo led throughout after trailing by two early. The Wolves led 15-9 after one and 32-17 at halftime. Lebo led by as many as 20 in the third quarter, despite being outscored, 30-29, in the second half. Siara Crouch led the way for Lebo with 26 points on 10 of 15 shooting and had six 3-pointers. Saige Hadley had 17. Lebo coach Patrick Gardner said he’s glad his team ended the season with a win and sending a special senior class out on a high note.
Lebo finishes the season with a 22-3 record.
