Audience members inside of the Emporia Granada Theatre Saturday night got a taste of Broadway thanks to a talented quartet of vocalists.
Audio PlayerThe Barricade Boys heralded as “The UK’s most exciting musical theatre group,” stopped in Emporia this weekend as part of their ongoing US tour. The Barricade Boys consists of founding members Scott Garnham and Simon Schofield, as well as Kieran Brown and Craig Mather who have an impressive resume of musical theatre credits including roles in Les Miserables, Mama Mia, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and the Phantom of the Opera just to name a few.
The members combine their stage experience and vocal talents into a one-of-a-kind musical theatre experience that has captured the interest and praise of audiences around the world including Emporia.
The Barricade Boys are the third performers to hit the Granada stage this calendar year following the Tartan Terrors earlier this month and Invincible: A Glorious Tribute to Michael Jackson back in February. Up next for the Granada will be Good Co. – Time For a Dance Party on April 18.
