Multiple activities are on the calendar at Flint Hills Technical College this week.
FHTC will be hosting a women’s-centered activity ‘Hats and Hors d’oeurves’ from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the conference center on the main campus located at 3301 W. 18th.
Events and Outreach Coordinator Stephanie Anderson says committee members were on board when she pitched the event to be put on the calendar.

After Thursday’s event, a Family and Friends Showcase will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon on Saturday. Anderson says faculty and staff have come on board to have students bring their families on campus to see what’s happening at FHTC.
This week’s activities lead into FHTC’s annual Gala entitled Run for the Roses on April 25 at 6 p.m. at White Auditorium.
Anderson says ticket sales for the annual Gala are off to a good start and encourages interested attendees to purchase their spots earlier than later.
Tickets are $65 per person with tables available for $480. To purchase tickets, visit https://www.fhtc.edu/foundation/ and click on Gala.
