A preliminary hearing in a Lyon County aggravated burglary case has been rescheduled.
Trevor Burton, age 28 of Emporia, was originally set for a prelim Monday, but that was continued to June 4 with defense attorney Paul Dean recently appointed to the case and unavailable for Monday’s scheduled hearing.
Burton faces six total counts, including single counts of aggravated residential burglary, theft of gaming equipment, interference with law enforcement and possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and paraphernalia after an alleged incident March 1.
Burton was arrested that day on suspicion of aggravated burglary, as well as three counts of failure to appear for other court cases.
