It’s a busy start to the season for the Emporia High softball team with four games, all on the road, in two days.
EHS will open its season on Thursday at Ottawa for a doubleheader and follow that with a trip to Wichita to face Wichita South on Friday. Emporia High head coach Tommy McClure said one thing he likes about this year’s team is being coachable.

Barrett said last week’s jamboree at Burlington got her more excited for the season opener.

Audio PlayerAfter this week’s four games, Emporia High will open up Centennial League play at Hayden on Tuesday and have its home opener next Thursday at Peter Pan Park against Highland Park.
