The Emporia Masonic Lodge #12 and the University of Kansas Cancer Center are bringing a free event to the community this weekend.
A free cancer screening event will be held Saturday at Central Care Cancer Center, 1401 West 12th Avenue, from 9 am to noon. Local Mason Dave Hendricks, a guest of KVOE’s Primetime Newsmaker Tuesday, says the upcoming event continues a proud tradition of Masons supporting cancer research and awareness.
