Part of a Lyon County road near Neosho Rapids is closing on a short-term basis this week.
The Lyon County Highway Department has closed Road Y between Roads 160-170, about three miles northeast of Neosho Rapids. A cross-road colvert is being replaced at the 170 and Y intersection.
The current plan is to reopen the road by late afternoon Friday.
