CareArc officials are pleased construction continues for its on-site pharmacy.
During the facility’s monthly Board of Directors meeting Tuesday, Chief Executive Officer Renee Hively said the pharmacy will help to make life easier and more affordable for patients.
Audio PlayerConstruction is currently set to end in June, but it could be fall before the pharmacy can see patients because of staff hires, software purchases, inventory stocking and the obligatory inspection from the state.
Board members also received the monthly financial report, which had a net gain of nearly $40,000, below projections of around $88,000 for February — but Chief Financial Officer Seresa Howe says revenues could have been above projections if CareArc didn’t lose two operational days due to weather last month.
In the annual meeting, the board chose Rick Torres as president, Teresa Briggs as vice president and new member Brandi Orender as treasurer. Carol Moyer is also new to the board.
