The Emporia High girls swim team finished fifth in its home invitational on Thursday to open the season.
The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Connelly Prouse, Ava Podreabrac, Bailey Wiltz and Brooke Monroe finished fourth with a time of 2:09.39. Wiltz and Woydziak finished sixth and seventh in the 50-yard freestyle. Wiltz swam a 31.19, while Woydziak finished in 31.42. Wiltz finished seventh in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:10.44. Monore finished seventh in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:23.54. The 200-yard medley relay team of Monroe, Podrebarac, Prouse and Wiltz finished eighth with a time of 2:30.29. Woydziak finished eighth in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:39.86. Prouse finished eighth in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:36.47. Diving results can be found here.
