Emporia High junior Allie Weiss opened her season with a first-place finish in the EHS Invitational on Thursday afternoon. Weiss recorded a score of 223.80, winning the meet by nearly 43 points. Her score was good enough to qualify for state. Weiss said she’s starting to get back into a rhythm after the offseason.
