The Lyon County History Center is gearing up for its next Community Connection exhibit.
Entitled “By Blood, By Choice”, the history center is seeking community members’ stories to tell for the exhibit to be on display from May 2 to July 31.
Lyon County History Center Director Greg Jordan says a variety of different stories will be featured.

Jordan says storytelling is important, and they want to keep people’s stories alive by using the artifacts and other necessary items to tell them through the exhibit.
Items will be collected beginning on Tuesday through April 26. There will be a History Center Members Only Preview on May 1 with an Opening Reception as part of Emporia’s First Friday Art Walk on May 2.
