Emporia’s final Legislative Dialogue of the 2025 session is coming Tuesday.
Lawmakers representing Lyon County — 17th District Senator Mike Argabright of Olpe, 60th District Representative Mark Schreiber of Emporia, 13th District Representative Duane Droge of Eureka and 76th District Representative Brad Barrett of Osage City — have been invited to attend, along with the general public.
There will be a short update from lawmakers on the session, which had its first adjournment last week and is gearing up for a veto session starting April 10. A question-and-answer session follows opening statements.
The meeting begins at 6 pm at the Trusler Business Center, 719 Commercial. Dialogues are organized by the Emporia Area Chamber of Commerce Government Matters Committee and the League of Women Voters Emporia chapter.
