The Emporia High baseball team extended its winning streak to four with a 6-2 victory over Wichita North on Thursday at Soden’s Grove.
Emporia High never trailed in the game. Luke Marshall drove in a pair in the third on a double. As part of a 3-run fifth inning, Madden Seidl had an RBI double, followed by an RBI single by Marshall and an RBI single by Owen Ruge. Grady Howe scored on a passed ball for the final run of the game. Marshall led the way at the plate going 2-for-4 with three RBIs. Chase Harrington got the win on the mound, going six scoreless innings of no-hit baseball and seven strikeouts.
Emporia High (4-1) travels to Wichita West for a doubleheader on Saturday.
