Two members of the Emporia High bowling teams received all-state recognition from the Kansas Bowling Coaches Association.
Senior Colton Swift is a first-team selection on the boys side, while junior Taylor McKay is a second-team selection on the girls side. Swift finished 15th at state in March with a series of 645 and helped the Spartans finish third with a series of 3,409. McKay finished 11th at state with a 575 series, helping the Lady Spartans to a seventh-place finish with a series of 2,751.
