The Emporia State women’s tennis team dominated Fort Hays State on the road in a 6-1 dual win Monday. ESU swept the doubles point winning by at least three games in each match. In singles the Lady Hornets won all of their matches in straight sets falling in three sets at #2 singles. Giovanna Ferreira led the way with a 6-1, 6-1 win at #1 singles while Perla Conde dropped just four games at #3 singles. Paige Stranghoner earned a 6-1, 6-1 win at #6 singles. ESU (7-7, 2-2 MIAA) returns to action Thursday when they face Washburn on the road.
