By early July, the transition from Haag Pharmacy to Newman Community Rx should be complete.
The transition is far enough along to change the signage for the building and the wraps on the delivery vehicles — making Monday a good time for a KVOE Morning Show interview with longtime Haag owner Amber Haag and new operational pharmacist Gail Barrett. Haag says such a move had been under consideration for a while, and a raft of changes made this the right time to go forward.

Audio PlayerNewman Community Rx is a partnership between the pharmacy, the recently-created Community Health Collective and Newman Regional Health. The pharmacy will continue its ongoing list of services like medication synchronization, compounding services, medication therapy management, hormone replacement therapy, compliance packaging, immunizations, their exclusive N+Addition line of nutritional supplements, and special packaging for patients residing in assisted living/long-term care facilities. Haag says more services are under consideration and more staff will be added this year.
