Emporia State University is hosting a traveling panel of Kansas Court of Appeals judges this week.
Judges Karen Arnold-Burger, PJ Cline and JJ Gardner will hold court at Emporia State’s Memorial Union Webb Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tuesday’s docket has two specific cases:
*Richard Gould is appealing a malpractice suit filed in Lyon County against Drs Patricia Crawley and Michael Lloyd as well as Newman Regional Health.
*In a Shawnee County case, Jesse Lydell Hicks is appealing a 2023 conviction in a driving under the influence and child endangerment case.
Ten cases are on the docket Wednesday, but none of those cases will have oral arguments.
