The Emporia High softball team was swept by Washburn Rural in Topeka on Tuesday. Washburn Rural won the first game 15-0 in three innings and didn’t allow one hit. The Junior Blues completed the sweep with a 13-0 victory in four innings. Emporia High recorded three hits in the second game, two coming from Yzabel Ultreras. Emporia High (4-6, 0-4 Centennial) travels to Junction City for a doubleheader on Friday.
