USD 251 North Lyon County and USD 252 Southern Lyon County have separate school board meetings this week.
North Lyon County will meet at 5:30 pm Wednesday at the Northern Heights library. Board members will discuss capital outlay matters, as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning bids at North Lyon County Elementary and Junior High. Non-resident student enrollment capacity will also be discussed, and there will be a tour of Northern Heights as part of the meeting.
So far, the agenda does not include conversations about the March 27 hailstorm that caused damage to windows, skylights and vehicles. Insurance adjustors are expected Monday, but they may not have reports available by Wednesday’s meeting.
Southern Lyon County will meet at 6 pm at the board office in Hartford. Enrollment projections, early childhood matters and various reports will all be addressed. There will also be time set aside for an evaluation of Superintendent Ryan Muhlig.
