Hetlinger Developmental Services is set to debut a new sale next month.
Hetlinger will hold a plant and art sale May 5-9 at the greenhouse on their campus at 707 S. Commercial from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 300 plants and artworks will be available for purchase.
Executive Director Jill Burton says holding the sale has been a long time coming, and all the hard work is paying off.

After Hetlinger’s plant and art sale, the non-profit organization will turn its attention to the reopening of the Carnivore Cafe at the David Traylor Zoo. The stand will be open Wednesday through Friday starting May 14 through August 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This will be the second year the stand has been opened and run by Hetlinger members. Burton says this is another way for their members to get into the community, gain employment skills, and run a stand.
Burton says 2024 was successful for the stand and hopes for the same in 2025.
