Sentencing is coming in June for an Emporia man after a plea agreement in a Johnson County vehicular manslaughter case.
On Thursday, Jason Brumley pleaded guilty to one count of involuntary manslaughter-DUI and two counts of aggravated battery. There will be a standard presentence investigation before the official sentencing hearing June 11.
Brumley was charged after a crash in Johnson County in May 2024. One person was killed and two were critically hurt as part of that crash.
