The Emporia State men’s tennis team powered past Augustana 6-1 at the Kossover Family Tennis Complex on Sunday. ESU swept the doubles point winning all three matches including two in a tiebreak. #17 Anton Sarunic fell to his 25th ranked opponent at #1 singles, but it was all Hornets otherwise with every Emporia State player winning in straight sets. Duvan Santiago Torres had the most convincing win dropping just four games at #6 singles. Hachem Fahem won 6-3, 6-3 at #5 singles. ESU (10-5, 2-2 MIAA/GAC) heads to Northwest Missouri for their final match in the MIAA/GAC North Division on Friday. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m.
