A Greenwood County man was killed in a crash near Severy on Friday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says the incident happened just before 9 am on Kansas Highway 99 about two miles north of Severy. Curk Creed, age 64 of Eureka, was driving a concrete truck southbound when the truck went off the right side of the highway. Creed overcorrected, sending the truck back onto the highway before it tipped and stopped in a ditch.
Creed was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
