Hornets for Hope held its second annual Suicide Prevention Walk on Saturday at the Emporia State Recreation Center.
Activities included raffles, resources and a lived-experience speaker.
Hornets for Hope President Steph Struc says it’s beneficial to hold an event on campus with interest growing on the topic.
As for the future for the event, Struc says she would like more people in the community to show support and have local businesses get involved.
