The rain Sunday came with a marginal severe weather risk that went unrealized. The weekend rainfall also came as moderate drought now covers most of the KVOE listening area, with abnormally dry conditions along and east of a line from Harveyville to Osage City to Virgil.
Monday will have abundant sunshine and high temperatures in the 70s. The unsettled weather pattern from late last week and the weekend returns Tuesday afternoon with a slight chance of showers and storms — and continues all the way through the upcoming weekend. There is a marginal severe weather risk just southwest of Emporia for Tuesday evening.
KVOE and KVOE.com will have updates. If you have rain totals from the weekend, call the station at 620-342-1400 or message the Bluestem Farm and Ranch text line at 620-342-5863.
