Railroad crossing maintenance projects continue in Lyon County.
The latest one involves Road Z, also known as Angus Road or the Lyon-Coffey county line. Work is underway between Roads 150 and 160 and will continue possibly through the end of the week. Road Z or Angus Road is closed until work is completed.
This follows work last week that closed Road 150 between Roads X and Y, as well as Y between 150 and 160.
In unrelated work, the Lyon County Highway Department closed Road 50 between Roads F and G on Monday for unspecified repairs. There is no timetable for reopening the road.
