The Emporia High boys tennis team finished eighth in its home invitational on Friday. Emporia High’s top finish came from Brecken Hines, who finished eighth, falling 8-4 to Topeka West’s Will Hitch in the seventh place match. Tegan Mitchell finished 15th with an 8-5 victory over Aiden Entress of Ottawa. The doubles team of Ricky Macias and Micah Mischke finished 15th with an 8-5 victory over teammates Brock Malone and Aiden Sanchez.
