Emporia State slugger Noah Steele was named the MIAA Hitter of the Week on Monday. Steele finished 7-for-14 at the plate in four games last week with a pair of home runs, two doubles, and six RBIs while being intentionally walked three times. Steele’s biggest game was game one against Arkansas-Fort Smith where he went 3-for-4 with two homers and an RBI single. Steele is hitting .384 on the season and has a 1.202 OPS with 15 homers and 52 RBIs. The Hornets wrap up the regular season with a three-game set beginning Friday at Northwest Missouri.
