A competency hearing is ahead for an Emporia man facing charges including aggravated child endangerment.
Quentin D’Angelo was set for a competency evaluation through CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness after a motion by defense attorney Ty Wheeler as part of his preliminary hearing last week. No new court hearing date is on the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal.
D’Angelo was arrested in early April and subsequently charged with one count of aggravated child endangerment, two counts of contributing to a child’s misconduct and one count each of possessing methamphetamine, possessing paraphernalia and interfering with law enforcement. Case details have not been released.
