Emporia State University has officially announced the schedule for spring commencement.
Activities will be at White Auditorium, with students receiving graduate-level degrees having a ceremony starting at 6 pm May 9 and students getting undergraduate-level degrees beginning at 9:30 am May 10. Activities include remarks from Kansas Board of Regents member John Dicus at both ceremonies and Roe Cross Distinguished Professor William Jensen speaking at the undergraduate ceremony.
Auditorium doors open 90 minutes prior to both ceremonies. Residents wanting to attend but suffering with accessibility issues are asked to arrive early and use the north doors for entry and exit. The auditorium also has one wheelchair and one transport chair available if needed.
