As identity theft continues to be a major concern across the country, ESB Financial once again provided an important and informative service to the local community Saturday.
The annual ESB community-wide shred and e-waste recycle day managed to collect lbs of waste over the two-hour event. This put a smile on the face of ESB team members, including Vice President of Commercial Lending Eric Porter, who says they enjoy putting the event on each year and are happy to see the community take advantage of it.
Porter notes that the day is more than just a community service; it is a great opportunity to inform the public on actions they can take to help keep their personal information safe, noting that a lot of people don’t fully understand just how many sensitive documents they may have lying around their home.
The shred and recycle day was once again open to both individuals and businesses within the local community.
