Three second half goals for the Emporia High girls soccer were enough for a 3-0 victory over Augusta on Friday night at the EHS Turf field.
Katie Smart broke the scoreless tie early in the second half. Emersyn Johnson tallied the second and Karla Morales added an insurance goal late. Morales said she’s glad she’s getting to contribute during her senior season.
Head Coach Oscar Macias said the Lady Spartans made the adjustments at halftime.
Emporia High (8-6) travels to Hayden on Tuesday.
