An Emporia man accused of illegal sexual activity with a minor will return to Lyon County District Court before the end of the month.
As part of a pretrial hearing Friday, Erik Alvarez was set for another pretrial May 30. No trial dates are currently on the docket as this case moves forward.
Alvarez faces one count of rape against a child under the age of 14 dating back to January 2021.
