Emporia Spartan Boxing had an impressive showing in Manhattan on Saturday, bringing home two wins and a top fighter recognition.
Earning his first career win at the KO in the Park competition was 12-year-old Arlis Siberns at 95 lbs via unanimous decision. Making his amateur debut Saturday was 25-year-old Daniel Tabares-Herrera at 140 lbs.
Tabares-Herrera had a debut to remember, picking up a first-round KO and taking home the Outstanding Male Fighter award. 21-year-old heavyweight Caleb Hulbutta went the distance in his bout, but lost via split decision.
