Emporia Police officers say there is an ongoing investigation as three people await formal charges after their recent arrests on healing arts violations and, in the case of one suspect, human smuggling and identity theft.
Officers arrested 51-year-old Iris Sandoval, 39-year-old Rigoberto Sandoval and 43-year-old Ana Figueroa on Friday on suspicion of the following:
*Iris Sandoval: Human smuggling, dealing in false ID documents, dentistry or hygienist license required and identity theft
*Rigoberto Sandoval: Dentistry or hygienist license required
*Figueroa: Dentistry or hygienist license required
Officers have not given further details on this case.
