The Osage City track and field teams swept the Flint Hills League Track and Field Championships on Friday in Lyndon.
The Lady Indians won the meet with 139 points, six points ahead of runner-up West Franklin. The Indians won the meet with 151 points, 22 more than runner-up Council Grove.
The Osage City girls got top 3 finishes from Alaynah Dorsey, winning the high jump clearing 5-2. Lexi Boss won the discus with a mark of 157-1 and took second in the javelin (118-5). Emory Speece won the 1,600m in 5:34.15, took second in the 800m (2:29.23) and was second in the 3,200m (12:50.68). The 4x100m relay team won its race in 52.62. Kaelyn Boss won the javelin with a throw of 119-8 and finished second in the discus (141-11). Lillian Lohmeyer finished second in the triple jump (33-8.25). Tamia Waller finished third in the 100m (13.56). The 4x800m relay team finished third (11:24.63). Jaiton Bosse finished third in the 1,600m (6:04.77) and in the 3,200m (13:07.79).
The Osage City boys got top 3 finishes from Quenten Stark winning the high jump, clearing 6-0. Camo Jackson won the discus with a throw of 142-0. The 4x800m relay team won its race in 8:52.48. The 4x100m relay team won its race in 43.97. Tate Smith won the 800m in 2:03.46 and finished second in the high jump (5-10). Luke Kerns finished second in the pole vault (11-6) and took third in the 800m (2:03.92). Kasen Parsons finished second in the javelin (161-2) and was third in the 110m hurdles (15.93). Dylan Theel finished second in the 100m (11.39) and was third in the 200m (23.69). Reed Silver finished second in the 400m (52.36). The 4x400m finished second (3:41.80). Noah Martinez finished third in the shot put (45-9.25). Alex Dawdy finished third in the 1,600m (4:52.66) and in the 3,200m (11:06.65).
The Council Grove boys finished second. Mason Samuels won the javelin with a throw of 162-4. Ace Monihen won the shot put with a throw of 51-5.50. Logan Stockwell won the 300m hurdles in 42.88 and finished second in the 110m hurdles (15.66). The 4x400m relay team won its race in 3:36.52. Gunner Gleason finished second in the shot put (45-11.50). Jadyn Picolet finished second in the 1,600m (4:50.09) and the 3,200m (10:23.70). The 4x100m relay team finished second (44.02).Aiden McCall finished third in the high jump (5-8). Syied Smith Jenkins finished third in the triple jump (40-5.75). Blaise French finished third in the 100m (11.40).
The Lyndon boys and girls each finished fourth. The Lady Tigers had 72 points, while the Tigers had 57 points. On the boys side, Josh Vignery won the 110m hurdles in 15.47 and was third in the 300m hurdles (44.70). James Marcotte took second in the triple jump (40-7). Asher Edington finished second in the 200m (23.48). The 4x100m relay team finished third (44.51). On the girls sidel,Lexi Totty won the pole vault clearing 8-6. Trysten Sowers won the 200m in 26.75 and took second in the 400m (1:02.63). The 4x400m relay team finished second (4:23.89). Lola Feuerbor finished second in the pole vault (8-0). The 4x100m relay team finished third (53.29). Kynlea Ramey finished third in the 300m hurdles (53.36). Jaedyn Segrist finished third in the 800m (2:33.46).
The Chase County boys and girls each finished fifth. The Lady Bulldogs had 59 points, while the Bulldogs had 54.5 points. On the boys side, Luke Budke won the pole vault clearing 13-0. Maddex Beyer won the triple jump with a mark of 41-8. Carson Schroer finished second in the 800m (2:03.63). The 4x800m relay team finished third (9:00.21). Wyatt Griffin finished third in the 400m (54.18). On the girls side, Madelyn Wilson won the shot put with a mark of 37-8 and finished third in the discus (117-8) and in the javelin (115-8). Dakota Phillips finished second in the 100m hurdles (18.00). Kiya Cahoone finished third in the long jump (15-6).
The Council Grove girls finished seventh with 13 points. Breckyn McEuen finished second in the long jump (15-10).
