Emporia High junior Allie Weiss is one step closer to winning her second consecutive state championship in diving. On Thursday in the prelims and semifinals, Weiss scored 311.70 points in eight dives and leads Salina Central’s Caroline Fields by 32.5 points. The final three dives for Weiss will take place on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka.
