SOS is celebrating its spring Heroes for Hope fundraiser.
Over $13,000 was raised through the efforts of 14 women, including nine individuals and two teams. Meghann Worthing had the biggest individual total at over $1,400, with the team of Kim Parks, Leslie Seeley and Karly Witte (WITT) generating the most finds in that category with over $5,100 raised. A Smashburger event through the team of Amanda Gutierrez, Amy Moody and Meghann Worthing was deemed the “Most Creative Way to Raise Funds.”
Funds generated through Heroes for Hope and its men’s counterpart, SOS Strong, bolster services, help victims and help to offset reduced amounts of grant money.
