An alleged traffic violation led to an arrest on suspected drug activity in Osage County this week.
Sheriff Chris Wells says an investigator handled a traffic stop at the junction of Kansas Highway 31 and Lewelling Road on Tuesday, allegedly finding illegal narcotics in the process.
Osage City resident Emily Hurla, age 34, was arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, as well as interference with law enforcement, using an illegal registration and not having liability insurance. Formal charges are pending.
