Four Emporia High baseball players received accolades from the Centennial League on Monday.
Owen Ruge is a first team selection as a pitcher. Micah Gray is a first team selection as a utility player. Madden Seidl is a second team selection as a pitcher. Chase Harrington is an honorable mention selection as an infielder.
Along with his first team selection as a pitcher, Ruge is a first team All-5A as a pitcher from the KABC. Ruge has also been selected to play in the KABC All-Star Game at 1 p.m. on June 18 at Equity Bank Park in Wichita. Ruge will be continuing his baseball career at Butler Community College in El Dorado next spring.
Also joining Ruge in the KABC All-Star Game is Lebo’s Drew Konrade. Konrade was a first-team all-2-1A selection as an outfielder.
