Graduated Emporia State wide receiver Tyler Kahmann has added one final award to his collegiate haul. “2K TK” has won the Ken B. Jones award presented to the top student-athlete in the MIAA. Kahmann holds every major receiving record in E-State history and is the MIAA record holder with 54 career touchdown catches. Kahmann is a two-time All-American and Academic All-American and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 4.0 graduate GPA. He had a 3.74 GPA when graduating from ESU with a degreee in business. He is the fourth male winner of the award and the 11th overall for Emporia State. Fort Hays State’s Katie Wagner DeGarmo repeated as the women’s award winner. Following the NFL Draft, Kahmann signed as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts.
