Formal charges are pending against an Olpe man for allegedly burglarizing a cell phone tower in Chase County last month.
The Chase County Sheriff’s Office says the alleged incident happened near 50th and Camp Creek Road on May 8. Jeremy Cox, arrested Tuesday, was picked up on suspicion of burglary, criminal trespass to a critical infrastructure facility, criminal damage and theft.
The Sheriff’s Office indicates there was an accomplice and urged that person to surrender to authorities. It also thanked the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office for its help.
