The Regional Development Association of East Central Kansas Board of Directors will meet this week with two key items to discuss.
Following comments from Interim President Lyle Butler, Board President Jeff Williams will give an update on the search for a permanent president — a process that has largely been on hold since late last year for work on a new board structure. The permanent position has now been open for almost 18 months since the RDA parted ways with Chuck Scott in January 2024. Jim Witt held the position for around a year before retiring early this year.
Also, Flint Hills Technical College President Caron Daugherty will lead a discussion on the college’s strategic plan through 2030.
The meeting is set to begin at 7:30 am Friday at the Trusler Business Center.
