Protests against current federal government actions are coming across Kansas this weekend.
In Emporia, the No Kings rally is taking place from 1-2 pm Saturday at White Memorial Park. It joins another 15 rallies across the state Saturday.
No Kings is a rapidly-developing effort protesting recent actions by the Trump administration, saying the federal government has defied court rulings, illegally deported or “disappeared” people, cut services and rolled the clock back on civil rights. More information is online at nokings.org.
