A Topeka man is in custody following a traffic stop in Osage County early Friday evening.
According to Sheriff Chris Wells, a K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop just after 5:40 pm at 189th and Stanley Road. During the stop, illegally narcotics were allegedly discovered in a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Daniel L. Bigenwalt Jr. of Topeka.
Bigenwalt was taken into custody on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and driving while license suspended.
Formal charges are pending at last word.
